Yes, we perform basic checks before tuning to ensure there are no immediate issues.
Our pre-tuning checks include:
- Checking for stored ECU fault codes.
- Inspecting for obvious vacuum, boost, or exhaust leaks.
- Ensuring proper fuel pressure and delivery.
- Monitoring ignition system performance.
- Checking cooling system condition.
However, this is not a full diagnostic inspection. If we find a fault that prevents tuning, the session will be postponed until it is resolved.
For peace of mind, we recommend having a full inspection before booking a tuning session.
